Who are we?

Hope Carrier is under the umbrella of Hope Global – an international nonprofit organization focused on educating the poor and alleviating poverty. Hope Carrier was created for two purposes – to ensure children are provided with resources that allow them to go to school and given the opportunity to learn about Jesus.

Is my purchase a charitable donation?

Every purchase made on the Hope Carrier website is a tax-deductible donation in the United States and Australia. Once the purchase is complete, the buyer will receive a tax receipt via email.

Why send a backpack to a child?

Education is the bedrock of all thriving communities around the world. In the developing world, poor families cannot afford to provide the necessary items to attend school such as a backpack, school supplies or a uniform. This gift of a backpack filled with school supplies allows children to attend school and open the door to a successful, stable life.

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION

How will I know the backpack has been delivered?

Hope Carrier backpacks will be delivered by a local volunteer in each region of distribution. Once the item has been delivered, the volunteer will take a photograph to confirm delivery and send this confirmation to the partner.

Every product we distribute is sourced locally. This is an important element of our goal to alleviate poverty and create jobs in poor communities.

Every Hope Carrier bag is manufactured in India. We partner with local suppliers who employ women, offer a fair wage and guarantee a safe working environment.
